1st Generation Toyota Tundra's were manufactured in '00-'06
At launch, the 1st-gen Tundra was offered with a base 3.4-liter V6 engine with a choice of a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission, and either 2WD or 4WD. The only other engine choice was a 4.7-liter V8, only available with 4WD and the automatic transmission.

2nd Generation Toyota Tundra's were manufactured in '07-'21
These Tundra's included a 2-door regular cab option, a 4-door double cab, and a 4-door crew cab. Engine options included the standard 4-liter V6 capable of 236 HP up to a 5.7-liter V8 with 381 HP of performance.

3rd Generation Toyota Tundra's were manufactured in '22-'25
The Toyota Tundra's 2022+ redesign was more extreme than most, given that the previous generation remained mostly unchanged throughout its 14-year run. In the case of the TRD Pro, a naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V-8 was replaced by a twin-turbo V-6 and a hybrid system.
